Who Knows Short Hand

So I am at this way important meeting today and I am taking minutes, cause that is part of my job since I am there to gather all requirements for my system, and this person who is speaking asks if there was going to be an email sent out about our BIG meeting next month. Now, he knew there was because there always is, but he had to go there, he had to say "Is there still the admin person doing that stuff with this project," knowing full well I was sending out the emails to the group. His ass was full aware we don't have admins working on this project and that I was the one who sent out the notifications about our meetings and the one who had to set up the rooms and teleconferences. Before I was put in this position another teammate did the job, but we have never had an admin and this guy knew it.

Such a mother fucker! The funny thing is that I worked with this guy on another project and he knows who I am and what I do, so for him to call me an admin is almost a slap in the face...not that there is anything wrong with those who hold the title of admin, I just didn't go all the way through college and grad school to become an admin, you know what I mean. Plus, my student loans are screaming at me and being called an admin is like a knife in the back, while I have to pay that shit off.

When the comment was made, I could only look away to my coworker and she could only point at me as to not get the looks at herself; she was in my position previously. You would have thought, though, my manager, who was in the room, would have spoken up and said we don't have admins on the project, but the "insert title here" will take care of it. OMG!

Hope your day is going better than mine.

Peace,
DeMo
