Social

On Friday night, we had a meet-n-greet party at my condo, and I was the host/planner/chair of the committee. My committee and I have been planning this party for the past couple of weeks and we finally pulled it off. Some of the people on the committee were stressed about the party, but after working parties for 2 years, they have become old hat for me.

The party started at 8pm and went till "when ever," not my idea. We all helped out during the party and slowly more and more people arrived, and by the end, I would say, close to 80 people showed up. Not to bad for our first party at the condo.

The age group started out to be mostly the older folks at the beginning, but round 9:30 the older folks went to bed and the younger crowd headed in for the free food and drinks. We went through bout 15 magnums of wine and 4 cases of beer.

All and all everyone that came had a great time and I ended up closing the party bout 2 a.m. I of course was the only one left from the committee, so I had to clean the room up by myself. No worries, I had some vodka to drink which made the time fly by.

I met a lot of people and there were quite a few cute ladies there. Hopefully, I will be able to see them in the future. I mean we do live in the same building, I would think we would have to run into each other once in a while, right??? Who knows what will come from the first social event of North Hampton?

I'll keep you posted.

Peace,
DeMo
