What, No Dinner First
I can’t stand to get fucked over when I know I did nothing wrong. Why do people get away with murder, OJ, and I can’t get what is owed to me. Case in point:
When my SUV was in the accident a few weeks ago it did not make any funny noises nor did it have any blatant scratches on it. Somehow, somewhere during the 2 weeks of me getting into the wreck and getting my SUV back it magically started to make clanking noises when the gears shifted from reverse to drive and the back bumper now has 2 huge scratches on it. None of these issues were there when I released my SUV into possession of wrecker co. after the wreck.
The insurance agent who was handling my bumper called me and said the pictures showed the marks on the SUV when they received it at the service center, so they are not going to pay for the damages. I told them I didn’t care whose fault it was, the scratches where not there when I released my SUV and someone was going to pay. I guess not because the bitch on the other line was not going to hear anything I had to say, and she gave me the wrecker’s phone number and told me to call them myself. I said “what good is this going to do? They are going to say they didn’t do it and I am still fucked.” She then told me to have a good night and that was the end. I was so mad!!!!
The noise coming from under the car was the other thing that was not there, that now just happened to appear out of no where. I took my SUV to my mechanic and had him look at it, and there was just not enough proof that the damage to the area could have cause the looseness. The noise could have been caused by wear and tear, but since there was no noise prior, he feels it could not just be plain wear and tear. The problem is there is just no way to prove it. So again I get FUCK!
I called the manager of the service center and told him the situations of the findings and laid it out like this. The noise I would forget about, since I could not prove one way or the other that it was caused by the accident. My mechanic said there is some looseness causing it to create the clinking noise, but there is no definite way to prove what caused it to happen. The scratches, on the other hand, were not on the bumper when I released the SUV and I will not back down on that issue. The manager understood my pain and felt sorry for me, I think. He said he would talk to his boss and see about getting it fixed. This guy is really trying to help me and I told him I got fucked twice and not in a good way. I think he found that funny and said he would do his best to get the bumper fixed.
I know this may not seem major in the grand scheme of things, but when I feel I have been violated I just do not want to be taken advantage of and do nothing. I feel like I am speaking up for all who’ve been screwed by big business, and I will do whatever I can to make things right! I just hope my dark cloud of shit-on-my-parade doesn’t follow me.
Peace,
DeMo
