Long Time Gone

Let’s catch up, I know it’s been a while since my last post, but not too much has been going on….

I have been going to physical therapy and my progress has been excellent. Each session is better than the last. Yet the pain seems to be getting greater each time. Since I am able to do more they bend and apply more weight to my knee cause me to experience more pain. But hey, no pain, no gain, right!

My assistant therapist is still cute as hell and she still massages my leg after each session…shwing! I don’t think she is dating anyone, but she does wear a silver ring on “the” ring finger. She talks about going home to Philly a lot, but never mentions a boyfriend or man in her life, so there may be a chance.

Friday night I did make a special appearance at a local hot spot with Kat, since she was kind enough to rescue me from my condo. It was a rare outing for me since I was still on crutches and couldn't sit for a long time without my knee hurting. I was nice to be out with people and breathe the fresh air. I forgot what normal people do on a Friday night - Thanks for the night out!

The folks left today after being with me for 3 weeks helping out and catering to my every need. Yeah, that part was nice and even having them around, but I am happy to see them off. I am sure they are glad to be getting back to their lives as I am to be getting back to mine. It is nice to have parents that would drop everything to come help me in my hours of need.

One of my first friends I made here in VA and coworkers is now leaving me. She has decided to take a position on another team and move out of our office. My lunch buddy and dynamic duo will be leaving in a few days maybe a few weeks, we’re not sure and it sucks! But I know it is for the best for her. She is going to be able to further her career from this new position and I guess we will still have our lunches every now and then. Plus, by not spending so much time together we might stop talk and thinking alike.
